How can I get dry denim shorts?

The oil ended up in my house and I have my denim shorts wet dry by tonight! The dryer does not work either. They have been hung over a radiator cold all night and are still as wet as they were eight hours ago.

Or hang them outside or put them under a heater! A radiator cold does not do anything when it's raining outside I'm keeping my clothes on a clothes horse and sit by the stove.
